Fourteen and Done!

Yessa finished her final college applications this weekend, and I thought it deserved a blog post. Five or ten years down the road, when college is all done and she's moved on to the next phase of her life, I want her to remember the choices she had to make.
The 14 schools she applied to in no particular order are:
University of Maryland
SUNY Brockport
Binghamton University
Stony Brook University
SUNY Cortland
University at Albany
SUNY Geneseo
University at Buffalo
Ithaca College
Truman State University
University of Rochester
Union College
Syracuse University
Williams College
She's heard back from and been accepted at 10 of them so far. Decisions still remain to be made based on financial aid and all the other mental twists and turns of deciding where to spend the next few years of your life. And she very kindly applied to both Buds and my undergrad universities. We feel seen.
I also suspect she applied to some of these to eventually find one that will decline her application. It's a lot like being a CrossFitter. When you are going for a one rep max, you lift until you fail. You don't stop until you know you have given your all.
Good decisions and good times ahead.
