Spain 2024-Day 10-Valencia

Spain 2024-Day 10-Valencia
Example of the bike rental areas scattered across the city.

We had to check out of the hotel by noon, and we could drop our luggage in our new apartment at 12:30, so we had all morning to play.

When you have a goal to get at least 20,000 steps/day (That's 11 miles.), you need to do your stepping early and often.

So much beauty.

Decathlon is the sporting goods store here. We bought a few items, and you just drop everything you want to buy in this bin and it knows what you are purchasing. 🤯🤯 We were very impressed.

We scuttled back to the hotel to checkout, then decided we'd walk to our new home, a 42 minute walk, and we'd stop for lunch halfway there.

A tableau we walked past. We called it, "The End Of The Bachelorette Party."

Buds found a beautiful little bistro for us and we got the meal of the day.

We had all these options to choose from:

Tempura veggies-these were delicious.
This mushroom ragout with an egg was the second starter.

Our entrees were equally delicious.

Typical Valencian baked rice.

And then dessert!

Perfectly ripe pineapple

After a delightful meal, we threw the backpacks back on and walked the rest of the way to our new spot.

Again we're on the top floor and it's a space we love.

The rest of the day included the grocery store trip, work, reading, and laundry. I had a hella headache, so out came the braids to ease any head tension I could.

So wavy.
Yeah for clean clothes!

Now we can truly settle into Valencia.

Working and learning.
