Open Mouth, Insert Tongue
Because Buds and I head to bed early, we often have one, two, or three kiddos pop in for a bedtime ritual of hanging out for a bit before we truly settle in to sleep.
A few nights ago I invited them in to watch the delightful production of the comedy, "Watch Mom put her freezing cold hands on Dad's back." The critics panned its emotional depth, but the slapstick comedy of it never fails to get laughs.
Speaking of depths, we set a new low last night as four of us sat and laughed about the word "weenus." Thanks to Merriam-Webster for this definition:
"Weenus (or weenis or wenis) is a slang word for the excess or loose skin at the joint of one's elbow, which is technically referred to as olecranal skin."
Yessa kept saying the word because we all kept laughing, but Buds tired of this "weenusing" and took matters into his own hands, or dropped them from his hands, as you'll see.
Mocha saw an open mouth, and she made her move.
