Sky and Country
Iowa was determined to punish me for my petty crimes by putting on a humbling show. We woke up this morning to this view of our three car garage neighborhood.
But then you'd turn around to find this.
The photo doesn't convey how every color in roy-gee-biv was out to play, including the hard to find blue side of the spectrum.
The night before at the fair we had taken the gondola up to the campgrounds and in perfect time to catch the last moments of sunlight (good instincts Bets!).
Towering clouds full of gentle moisture filled the northern sky.
As we drove home, intra-cloud lighting flashed and popped. Humility accepted.
