Talking through the workout with Judge Tim before it all began:
Wall Walks are exactly what they sound like. His hands had to walk from the far white line on the floor to the white line closest to the wall, all while his feet are “walking” up the wall.
Double unders are when the rope passes under your feet twice on each jump.
Here’s Buddie doing them.
And finally, the snatches. The bar comes from the floor, ending up over your head, arms extended, in one fluid motion.
Here’s one from 5 years ago.
And some stills from this year.
Buds got through the second set of wall walks and double unders and got 8 of the 12 snatches done. His final weight was at 135#.
He did what he needed to to make it to the quarterfinals, which was exactly the plan.
