J, B, L, A's First Visit!

One of the huge benefits of moving somewhere new is the visits from some of the loved ones to see the new home and the new city.

One of Brendan’s sisters lives here in Rochester, so though we may get more frequent visits with this crew thanks to the double attraction, we have to share their time, which is tough. But we’ll take the love where we can get it.

Brendan joined us for a morning CrossFit WOD, wearing his CrossFit Siracusa t-shirt, so lots of memories old and new.

The timing was around Yessa’s birthday, so everyone except Buds conquered an Escape Room that Yessa picked out.

Synopsis:

“You have been invited to be part of an elite observation team to view the newest medical wonder created by Dr. Watson. He has devised a miracle machine that will automatically perform open heart surgery and you will be one of the first to see it in action. As you enter the pre-op room, something goes terribly wrong!

A deadly virus has been released and you are now sealed in the operating room WITHOUT Dr. Watson! Dr. Watson has prepared the room for just such an instance, but you must find the clues that he has left in the room to activate the operating machine and successfully perform the procedure.

Time is ticking…can you save the patient before he expires?”

We did! Save the patient, I mean.

A relaxed pasta dinner back at our house, and we got to keep Luc for the night, so a glorious day all around.

Getting a group picture not easy.

Working close together.

Working together.

Jenny and I got a walk in the rain to chat and laugh and explore the neighborhood.

Buds and I met up with Jenny and Brendan along with Brendan’s sister at the public market on Saturday morning so they have a mental image of what we mean when we talk about walking around there.

Every single minute we had together was comfortable and joyful and even if we have to share them when they are here, I’ll take any time I can get.

They brought gifts, including this great mug for Monkey.

Come back soon, Loved Ones.
