She's 12!!!

Thank you for the loving birthday wishes from folks yesterday. Yessa is officially 12.

She worked on the pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting she picked out. As is our tradition, I made a sweet treat for her one local cousin who shares her birthday.

(Three of the ten cousins on Buddie’s side of the family have the same birthday. Thank you, Valentine’s Day.)

Buds worked from home so as soon as everyone was up she opened presents.

She and I went for a lovely hike.

We had a cousin stay overnight and all of us sang to the youngest of the birthday triplets up in Vermont to wish her happy birthday.

“Incredibles II” and dinner of Yessa’s choosing rounded out the evening.

It was a wonderful birthday for this awesome kiddo.
