We headed to LegoFest with some friends a couple weekends ago. Monkey chose to stay home to hang out with my mom who was in town visiting, but the rest of us popped down to the convention center for a snappingly good time.

Buster dies by the sword...the sword he crafted with Dad's help.

First he wanted to hide his sword to try and save it.

Then he decided to find someone to pass the sword on to.

He finally selected a little boy who was buried in legos.

After Buster explained his intention, with a look of delight and disbelief, the little boy gently took the sword in his hands and rushed over to show it to his parents. It was a beautiful way to wrap up our time at The Fest.
