Cruz'in the Science Center and Meeting Cash

On May 31st, Cash Layken Dickerson joined the world as my great-nephew, and the kids’ second cousin. So, when we were visiting Mom in July, we made plans to take Big Brother Cruz to the Science Center with us for the day, and a brief visit to snuggle sweet new Cash.

Cruz was great fun and fit right in with our crew at the Science Center. He’s as bright and sparkly and clear-spoken a three year-old as you can find. My kids just adore him. In addition, he has a special bond with my mom, and she shows him pictures of my crew, and we skype with them, so it didn’t feel to him like he was spending the day with strangers, for which I was thankful.
