A Bright Sunshiny Day

Of the many, many lessons these children have taught me, being present with them, where they are, is a huge lesson I have a very hard time learning. I like to accomplish things. I like to have a clean house, a “to do” list that has lots of items crossed off, and a feeling at the end of the day that I’ve made good use of my time.

I’m learning to alter my vision of “good use of my time.”

Scootering and biking on a sunny day? It might not get clean sheets on a bed, but it sure makes it fun to fall into that bed at night.
