We're Still Here...

It's been over a month since our last post, and thanks to a loving comment from my brother-in-law, I am looking forward to getting back to writing. The days with the kids home seem to go so quickly; finding time to step away from the activity to write about those activities is blessedly difficult. The best kind of difficult.

For now I will tease with a few pictures and snippets.

Babs and I flew back and forth across half the country, stayed in a $500/night hotel, and saw way more of the Detroit airport than we hoped to.

Kids are home from school and we've been having a great time.

We've spent time with loved ones of all sorts.

Kelly and I stumbled into an unlocked door and an empty office, which is how a lot of murder mysteries begin and horror stories end.

And I got to hold the newest sweet babe at the box...Welcome to the world, Dear Ivy.

More to come about all this, but the month-long freeze has been broken.
