Spain 2024-Day 21-The Journey Home Begins

It was an early morning, but crisp and beautiful out.

Oh, wait, the crisp, crunch was the snails we accidentally stepped on on the way to the train station.

A 30 minute walk, mostly downhill, to the beautiful Toledo train station.

We're settled on the train and we couldn't get seats together, so a lot of people are going to be pulling in here in the next 10 minutes.

That's how it is with reliable public transit. You only have to be in your seat 2 minutes before the train leaves.

Onward to Madrid...
