Spain 2024-You Can Count On Me...
One wrinkle in this trip was a tenant moving out of our rental and new tenants moving in. I had lined up the cleaning company and we've got electric locks, so I thought I could handle it all remotely.
But then the cleaning company called and there was an issue with bedding. I had to ask the kids to go over to make beds and swap laundry. I promised it would only take 30 minutes.
Probably shouldn't make those kinds of promises.
Buster had a full day of school. Monkey had a terrible headache. Yessa has been on driving duty for three weeks.
But they showed up. Monkey stayed home to work there, though she would willingly have gone. Buster and Yessa went over, made beds, cleaned out areas that the cleaning company had missed, and made sure the cottage was spiffy and cozy, ready for its new tenants. It took them over two hours, and they were champions about it.
I was so grateful to have their support and work ethic. It's part of being a team.
Thanks to all three of you.
We notice and it means a lot.
