Preview Week Wraps Up
This may be typical at all colleges and universities now, but our crew just wrapped up "Preview Week" where they can log into their classes, see what textbooks need to be purchased, read through the syllabus, get a start on the work in some cases, but nothing is actually due until after classes truly began on January 22. Monkey has a professor that didn't post anything for one of her classes, but all the rest of the classes the kids are taking had some information available.
This exposure helped Yessa decide a class she thought she would enjoy was not actually a class she wanted to take, and helped everyone have a gentle re-entry after over a month away from school work.
Yessa drove us all over to campus so she and Buster could buy their books and Buster could see his class locations. (He's the only one with in-person classes on campus this semester.) Buds went with those two while Monkey and I met with an advisor from the Career Counseling center to get ideas of the resources available.
Everyone is settled into classes, going strong here at the start.
Onward to a semester filled with new ideas and insights.
