We were up at 3, met the driver at 4:15. The company we rented from directed me to the Civitatis website to schedule the driver, and it worked perfectly. He messaged me last night so we had direct contact, and that reduced my anxiety by 35%.

We were at the airport at 4:47, and security didn’t open until 5, so I had time to people watch and observe my own reactions to people I perceive acting “fairly.” Yessa reminded me to relax, we’d all get through the line, and she was right.

This is our first TAP flight. As an airline, they are reviled in the travel community, but we’re having good luck so far. They are super inexpensive, so they save money by not paying for terminal boarding. We rode a bus out on the tarmac and walked up the stairs. But the seats are comfy and we’re ready to go.
