Dun da duuuuuun
dadda lun, dadda lun, dadda lun, dadda lun, dadda lun, dadda lun, dadda lun, dadda lun, dadda lun, dadda lun, dadda lun, dadda lun, dadda lun
DUN!
DUN DA DUN, DUN DA DUN, DUN DA DUUUUUUN
DUN!
Yep, I’ve got the Eye of the Tiger soundtrack playing in my head because I just learned I’m advancing to quarterfinals in the Crossfit Open.
This is for the top 10% in each age group. I spent Monday watching the final scores roll in. I knew I would be precious close to the 10% cutline. I thought the cutline was the top 856 in my age group and I slid gently down to 861 as the last event scores came in.
Oh so close! One more rep on any workout would have been enough…
…but then Crossfit announced today that the cutline for my age is 934 so I’m safe by a mile.
I’m super proud of our diligent time at our new Crossfit Box (Crossfit Park Ave!) and of my great heaping helping of experience. I finished three of the workouts in the top 10% and one in the top 1%. I wasn’t expecting anything and didn’t redo any of the workouts so this is a very pleasant.
What’s next?
