Europe Trip #1 - April 22, 2022 - Good bye Ortigia, Hello Madrid!

It’s still not real to me that our time with J, B, L, A is complete.

We left the apartment at 1:45 p.m. for the short walk to the Temple of Apollo where our driver was waiting.

Our driver was a delight. I sat in front and we chatted the whole way about his work as a driver and his love life. Highlight; he’s been a driver for Harrison Ford. Drama; he and his girlfriend have to decide if it’s time to break up or not. His English was superb, and he promised he’d have an update on his relationship the next time we were in Ortigia. ☺️

We got here extra early because I hadn’t been able to check Yessa in online. The ticket agent was wonderfully helpful and that went quickly. Security was smooth and easy, and now we wait.

Onward to the land of The Prado and Retiro Park.
