Europe Trip #1 - April 5, 2022 - First Fledgling Flutters

Monkey decided she wanted to practice for the future study abroad plan, so tonight Buds and I walked her a couple streets over from where the rest of us are staying and dropped her off in her own apartment that she’ll have for a week.

Vienna memories from one generation
to the next.

She’s in KH Opera Apartments, tucked away on the second floor (first floor in Europe) of a beautiful old building that’s been redone.

The brown doors are the doors to the street.

The door into the private spaces of the building. They love big doors.

Apartment 2 is Monkey’s domain.

The bathroom brought a Sicilian smile.

You can see the opera house from her bedroom.

The view right outside her door to the street.

We went with her to do some errands this morning for my reassurance more than anything. We followed behind her, pretending we didn’t know her, hoping no one reported us to the polizei for following a young girl.

She’s doing great. Off we went.
