The Love You Give
As a followup to Quarantine Housing we’ve recently been taking the Love Languages survey.
Love languages is a site/book/media empire that postulates there’s different ways that we all prefer to receive love. They are physical touch (“I need a hug”), quality time together (“let’s go for a walk”), words of affirmation (“you’re the best”), acts of service (“let me do that for you”), and receiving gifts (“here’s a token of my affection”). We can be blind to acts of love that aren’t received on our preferred frequency and also struggle to give love in dimensions where we aren’t strong.
