Post-Christmas

Buddie’s family switched to a Secret Santa approach for the cousins of the family this year. Our kids created wish lists that we shared with their Secret Santas, and this led to many new books finding their way into our home this year.

And Buds brilliantly suggested that I get recommendations from his hippest co-worker at the Juice Christmas Party on design and decorating books for Yessa, and that suggested gift was the biggest hit of all that she received. (Buster is currently wearing the t-shirt I picked out for her. She didn’t like it, and we’re honest about gifts in this house.)

I’ll write a Christmas specific post, but seeing our crew snuggled in with a good book will never cease to bring me joy.
