Love In Any Language

Buds worked from home yesterday.
Buster is learning Italian.
Yessa is learning German.
Monkey is in Iowa, and she is also learning German.
At one point, I was working in the kitchen, and there were three different languages swirling around me, plus Buds would latch onto some Italian phrase Buster was practicing and shout it out.
“Swanson!”

When I talked with Monkey at the end of the day I asked her what she’d been doing.
“Duolingo!” she replied. “I can’t let Buster get ahead of me.”
The competitiveness, they got that from Buds.
These goofballs. I love them in any language.
