Tough Mudder

Buds has a co-worker who ran in a Tough Mudder last year, and convinced Buds and his brother, Uncle Z, that it would be a great idea to all run it together this year.

This despite all of them knowing the co-worker had intestinal issues for weeks post-race last year.

Go figure.

Buddie put in some great training runs consistently over several months, and they all had a great time.

I love the relationship Buds has with his brother; Supporter, Competitor, Friend, Encourager. They are both so lucky to have each other.

Buds did have one massive fall, off the wall shown below.

Luckily for Buddie, another human broke his fall. Ouch for both of them.

Google made a fun little wrap-up for us. Lots of talking, talking as the men work through the trauma of the event, but stay tuned till the end to see Buddie’s gait once he’s stiffened up on the car ride home.

Would he do it all again?
