Making Things...
My phone has a little problem. It doesn’t like to charge up unless there is a relatively substantial amount of weight pushing down on the pressure point where the charger enters the phone. I’m not sure why this is such an issue, but it is very consistently a problem.
The Buster saw me setting books or shoes on my charger each night, and he told me he wanted to solve the problem.
So he did.
The device has legs that rotate so it can handle the instability of balancing on the cord. The knives provide the necessary weight to push the cord down.
Most importantly, it works…every.single.time. I can’t tell you what an improvement this is over my previous method of searching for a new heavy object each night.
The Buster was thrilled with solving my problem, too.
“I can’t believe I made something that worked like that.”
A great moment for both of us.
