The Spring 2026 Semester Has Begun
On Sunday morning at 9 a.m., we loaded up the bins and backpacks and laundry bags, and headed out for Bing, for the beginning of this new semester.

The drive over flew by. Yessa was crocheting. Buds and Buster were reading. There was some chatting. It is a beautiful drive, and really does go so quickly.
We dropped off Buster's items, then Yessa's, then headed to Lover's Sushi for lunch.

Lunch was loverly, and we laughed so much at the stories and memories. I will always be grateful at having a family who shares a similar sense of humor.

We dropped off Buster, then Buds, Yessa, and I went to watch a wrestling tournament. Buds was excited to explain the wrestling moves to Yessa, and to enjoy seeing wrestling up close again.

We didn't get to stay for the whole tournament, but Yessa made sure to let us know later that Bing did win. Yessa and I are glad we went, but not sure wrestling will be on our "must do" list again. As Yessa said on the phone afterward, "Wrestling is so ferociously intimate."
Buster and Yessa had their first day of classes yesterday and have been making plans for the new semester with friends and roommates. Off to another fantastic start.
But, oh my, they are missed.
