Vermont Visit November 2025

Vermont Visit November 2025

After giving final hugs to the Binghamton Twins, we drove up to Vermont to spend 5 days with Buddie's parents. It was a relaxed trip. We had our first snow of the season, and Mount Abe stayed hidden from us the whole time, and it was good to be together.

Winter Wonderland.
They've got their winter wood ready!
A lovely dinner out with some loved ones.

Monkey and I had some time wandering around in Bristol, and I found some fun cards for people.

Backgammon is always a good way to end an evening.

On our final full day, Monkey and I headed for Middlebury to have some lunch and enjoy the art museum at the university.

Aunt R had suggested the art museum to us, and she was spot on. It was the perfect size for us, free, not very busy, and we loved the exhibits.

On one of the nights we were in Vermont, we had an at-home art exhibit when we went up to the studio with Buddie's dad and talked about his art and the changes over the decades of his painting. It's a magical space up there, and hearing him talk about his ideas and craft was a delight.

It was a busy, fulfilling visit, plus SNOW! It's good to live closer together.

We'll catch you next time, Mount Abe.
