The Eagle Is Coming Home to Roost

While we don't live up to the French for protests, but Americans are pretty pissed off at what's happening to this country. Two weeks ago, No Kings rallies were held nationwide. The nearest to us was at the 12 Corners in Brighton. I biked down to show up.

Twelve Corners was packed, filling the inside and outside and a fair way down the each of the feeder streets.

The cars were joyously honking in support while driving past double rows of demonstrators on each side. The mood was outraged but chipper.

I was able to find my spiritual dopplegänger.

It was great to see so many folks out and I wish we'd do more, for longer. Loudness wise, though, we did okay.
