Bing Three Week College Update

This will probably be the last Bing Update for awhile unless something unusual or extra-exciting happens. The kids are doing great, making many memories, and I want to note a few of the early stories for their later reminder.
They both took part in the Transfer Summit, which included seminars, a panel of former transfer students, and volunteering at the local zoo.
They both shared a picture of the lounging Bearcat.

I don't remember what Yessa worked on at the zoo, but Buster had a hilarious story for us during our family meeting about the choosing of jobs, and he and two fellow transfers ended up sorting recycling from garbage, a job that, shockingly, no one else volunteered to do.

They both enjoyed U-Fest, the chance to see various clubs and organizations, finding ones that fit their hobbies and needs.

I've received many pictures of their chosen meals, which makes me smile.

I also received multiple pictures of Buster's slices of pizza. He realized the greasy deliciousness was not sustainable long-term, so he started changing things up.

He sent me this message:
"Cool life hack to let you eat whatever you want: dump veg on it. Want to eat a breakfast sandwich even though cheese/egg/sausage/croissant bun isn't the healthiest? Fill up a cup of sliced carrot at the same time and dump that stuff inside."

At first the kids had an understanding that they would ignore each other; not interact if they saw each other. I think that has relaxed over the weeks, They bumped into each other and had lunch together. Yessa has now met a couple of Buster's roommates. They also have class close to each other, so I trust they see each other in passing.
They've both been bowling in the union. Another thing I love about Bing is that bowling is free, $.50 for shoe rental. Such a fun activity.

Instagram seems to be the current means of communication for the kids these days, so I'm spending time on Insta, which is interesting. Yessa posts an update each Friday.
