Vermont Visit-September 2025

Buds, Monkey, and I had a splendid weekend in the mountains of Vermont, visiting our family there. A CrossFit friend went along for the drive to have time with a loved one at UVM, which made the 5 1/2 hours fly by.

Buds had a new laptop to set up for his dad. Monkey and I were looking forward to relaxing, seeing loved ones, and enjoying the fantastic weather. The leaves had started to change, which made for a gorgeous drive.

Aunt R, R, and Cousin M came over to visit when they were able to, and it was so good to get time with them, as always.

Buddie's dad's brother, Uncle Mike, died in May 2024, and his daughter shared some items she had been clearing out. We brought home some of his books to show our crew.

Not books he owned, but literally, his books.

It was good to talk, plan, and have time together.

Buddie's mom has spruced up the pet cemetery.

After the family call on Sunday, we headed off into the beautiful day for our drive home.

And this time we remembered to take home maple syrup.
