Monkey Day One Post-Surgery-Monkey Surgery

Monkey finally fell asleep around 1:30 this morning and slept for 6 hours. Her pain is well managed, and except for one instance where she strained too much using her arms, she's been moving, but not testing her limits yet.

Buddie biked out to get some fresh focaccia in addition to his beautiful pictures, and Monkey and I both perked up when he got back home.

We watched Mary Poppins, which we all love.

We've also checked in with the away from home college kids, watched a lot of Great British Bake Off, resting, reading, writing, and relaxing. The best sort of day for healing.
