They've Taken Her Back-Monkey Surgery

The IV only took one stick. The surgeon came in and did all the marking. Monkey met with Dr. Rhodes, the anesthesiologist, who has a good friend with the same mother-daughter name as Monkey and me. (And yes, we're all 55.)

Everyone was incredibly kind and thoughtful. Monkey is excited and ready to go.

Dr. Vega said it would be a couple hours. He'll come talk to me after it's over, then I'll get to sit with her after they've taken her vitals and all looks good in the recovery area.
