Real Diploma Arrived

When Yessa and Buster crossed the stage at graduation, the papers inside were not their real diplomas, but instead they received a sheet letting them know their real diplomas would arrive in the mail eventually.

This was a great time to make sure they knew the story that Buddie's parents still tell about him opening up his Williams College diploma folder to find that the diploma had been replaced by a notice that he needed to return his overdue library books in exchange for his diploma. Academic blackmail at its finest!
Yessa's real diploma arrived in the mail yesterday, and it is beautiful! No overdue library books for this kiddo.

Buster is taking a calculus class this semester as his final piece of his MCC degree, so we'll blog about the arrival of his diploma when it comes in a couple months.
Receiving the diploma was a great reminder of the hard work Yessa put in for this first degree. So very proud.
