Memories of Anime

Buster and I just finished watching an anime series he introduced me to that I loved!! It had such powerful themes of friendship and empathy. It was a delight to watch together.

AND, it reminded me to finally hunt down the one anime series I was exposed to as a child. I have searched for it before, but with no luck. Finally I realized this was a problem chatgpt was uniquely qualified to solve. I told it I was searching for an early 1980's anime series seen on PBS in the Midwest. (When you only had 4 channels to watch, it's easy to remember what channel you watched it on 40 years ago.) At first chatgpt suggested "The Adventures of The Little Prince," which I knew was wrong because that is what has come up when I searched in the past.

But then, the next answer:

JACKPOT!!

Finally I can scratch that brain itch. Buds and Buster watched part of an episode with me, and we had a good laugh.

Shows sure have changed.
