Yessa Goes To Arizona-Spring Break 2025

This is a story of two families connected at first through a chosen faith, and then through their entwined spirits. I hope this isn't the last spring break trip Yessa has as one of "The Trips," but if it is for now, they had a fantastic time.

The trip began with Yessa flying from Des Moines down to join up with the crew in Phoenix, AZ. They had been there for a few days, hanging out with Kel's mom and some family who live there. They were able to stay in the beautiful home of Kelly's cousin, and the Trips had their own little guest house, which they relished.

Then they headed out for a few days in Sedona, which Yessa loved.

The specifics of the trip are a little fuzzy for me, so I'm posting pictures that looked beautiful and loving from the big album, and any of you who were there are welcome to let me know extra stories or insights you want added.

What I do know is that these friendships have been a gift to all of us. I am grateful, and a little envious, of the adventures Yessa has gotten to have with this portion of our chosen family.

Thanks to all of you who shared your pictures. It was fun to follow along with your adventures as they happened and a joy to look back through them now.

And thanks for loving our kid and including her as one of your own on these trips, Paula and Kelly. It has made her life richer and better.
