NYC-2025-Pod Hotel Design Flaws

Though not a problem for those of us who have been married 30 years, if you unwittingly chose the Pod for a first trip away with a new romantic partner, you'd be in nightmare territory.

As I mentioned in the previous post, even those of us with no personal secrets left have found the downstairs public bathrooms to be comforting. 😉

The shower also leaves a bit to the imagination.

View of the shower from the bed.

Buds would not allow me to post the full length photo I took, even though it actually showed nothing. It has the allusion of something.

Again, not a problem for us, but if it was two non-amorous friends, uncomfortable.

And then there's the toilet.

Besides some of the more obvious toilet discomfort issues, I flung myself into an unexpected toilet difficulty.

If your toilet is in the shower, you have to have a paper delivery device that will stay dry.

The view inside the toilet.
The view of the roll.

Here's the view from outside the shower stall:

Notice the open side?

I was using the bathroom and when I reached in for the toilet paper, I managed to shoot the roll across the floor and land it in the small puddle of water left from a previous shower. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

As you can imagine, that sucked...up lots of water. 😉

Relatively small issues, and funny to me and future me.
