Mary and John's October 2024 Visit

Buddie's parents popped over for a weekend visit in sunny October.

Always game for outings, Buds and I had them up and out early to the Saturday Public Market. We grabbed a little Polish breakfast with potato pancakes, applesauce, and sausage.

Apparently not having enough Polish food in our diet, they offered to take us out to lunch at our favorite Polish restaurant, Polska Chata. Good companionship and conversation, plus delightful schnitzel...what a delicious way to connect.

The dessert here is off the hook. And vegan options, too!

Back home for the afternoon, John had football to watch, the Z's and Buds had projects, and Mary, Yessa, and I settled in for an at home escape game.

It took a few hints, but we eventually solved it.

After the games ended, we had a relaxed, wrest-full night at home.

Sunday morning was the regular family phone call with all the siblings, then the parents were on the road back to Vermont.

Thanks for the visit! It was good to be together.
