Guest Post: My Evening as a Seatfiller at the Emmy Awards
I don't have a picture of Angie in her Emmy outfit, but I assume it was something like this?

As you regular readers know, this blog is Buds and my loving gift to our progeny. Filled with minutia of little import to anyone but us, we love it for what it is; a family journal.

But then I read or watch something so delightful and interesting, I want to share it with you all.

This time it isn't a Ted Lasso video! It is actually from someone I know and like.

Angie and I went to college together. Fun fact to make my children cringe; I attended Angie and Dennis' wedding with the Chris I was dating before I met the Chris I married.

Angie is a fantastic writer and it is always fun to read her updates on FB. When I read this one, I decided to ask Angie if I could share it with you all, and she very lovingly agreed.

Settle back, folks, and enjoy Angie's adventure in LA.

First she teased us with this post:

And then she gave us a full run down of the evening.

Thanks so much to Angie for letting me share this. It was such a delight. And to see Erik Estrada's name after all these years. (Hello, Ponch.)

As Angie said, "Never give up on your dreams."

The author and her spouse who has not been to a major awards show.
