Spain 2024-Day 17-Córdoba-The End
It will come as no surprise that we were glad to be spending our last day in Córdoba. We wanted to keep a good attitude about it, but we were definitely looking forward to that early morning train.
We went for an early morning walk and grabbed breakfast at a simple Mom and Pop Cafe. The best breakfast we've had in Córdoba.
It was a beautiful morning. The weather here has been spectacular.
It was surprising to us to walk by the corner where we dined our first night and realize the way the space is used and available for the community when the taverna isn't open.
How it looked in the early morning:
How it looked when we were eating:
We both have enjoyed this mural we've often walked by:
The rest of the day was spent on study and work. We'd gotten grocery store food so we could have more control over those options. We realized the larger grocery store we found was actually an Aldi's. It was good to have a focused day like this.
Having a courtyard is ideal for cats. Protected outdoor space to roam. Perfect!
At the end of the night, we again walked to the grocery store, gathered items for a picnic and walked to the pedestrian bridge over the river to enjoy people watching and the setting sun.
A comfy bench was available right by the accordion player.
When Buds tired of the accordion music, we headed back to pack. Our train leaves at 6:40 so morning will arrive quickly.
