Out Goes The Wisdom
Buster had his wisdom teeth out a couple weeks ago. Monkey and I are still traumatized from her horrible experience years ago, but we tried to be hopeful going in. When Buster and I met with this new oral surgeon recommended by our dentist here, he began to poo poo me when I shared some of the previous experience and why we were cautious, but stopped when he saw my face, and quickly switched to reassuring us.
The consult visit was easy, and Buster chose to have laughing gas and novocaine as his intoxicants of choice. This meant no eating after midnight the night before, so we got an early appointment.
The dentist had said to plan for the surgery to take an hour, and they were done in 30 minutes. I think they do so many of them, plus Buster’s were pretty straight forward, they have an incredibly speedy process.
After a couple days, his pain was completely under control, and he was back to nearly normal eating. We had a comfortable week of hanging out together and healing. He was cleared at his one-week follow-up, and we’re all glad it went so smoothly.
Buddie and Ginnie’s wisdom teeth gone.
Monkey’s wisdom teeth done.
Buster’s wisdom teeth gone.
Only one left, and guess what, her wisdom teeth were removed today!!!
A post on that later if she approves, but so far she’s doing fine.
