Now We're On A Bus -Europe 2023

Monday, June 5 – We’re trying something new this morning as we head out of Portugal into Spain. Flix bus is an inexpensive way to get from place to place.

At their newest, the buses have wifi, bathroom, comfort. Based on the reviews, they can also have no bathroom, surly drivers, hot and stinky, and if you have a deadline, it’s not how you want to go.
It was a short 11 minute walk to our bus pickup spot behind the psychiatric hospital. We had a 20 minute wait while the bus headed for Lisbon loaded up and headed out. In a totally baller move, the Lisbon bus had loaded up, closed its doors, and was pulling away from the curb when a black sedan parked right on front of the bus, blocking it from leaving, and a passenger stepped out of the taxi, loaded her luggage underneath, and stepped in the bus. Most exact timing I’d ever seen.

We couldn’t get seats next you each other, but we are in three aisle seats in a cluster.

Sevilla, here we come.
