A Tribute: Cash Layken Dickerson
Many of you have checked in with me over the years about how Cash was doing. He was spicy and funny, so very loving, and so very loved.
We were on the beach when I got the call. The juxtaposition between the paradise scene I was sitting in, and the transition to eternal paradise for a young loved one a continent away was not lost on me.
I hate that we can’t be with family today for the visitation and the funeral tomorrow. I’m sending love and tears and prayers that loving memories bring comfort. Cash’s parents have been amazing at setting boundaries for what is best for their family and for him. I’ve been so impressed by them and their strength in making impossible choices with dignity and love.
We love you, Little One.
Thank you to my Beloveds who have checked in with me to see how we’re doing. It means a lot.
And thanks to Teresa and Pam who are helping to get Mom to and from the services. She’ll be so grateful for your support.
