Yessa Jokes Part 1 - Europe 2023

It feels like Yessa could rip off some real zingers on this trip and I want to be sure to capture them.

The first one was on our drive to the Toronto airport. We laughed and reminisced on the easy, beautiful drive. I laughingly asked if they remembered the people who were sitting in our seats on one of the trains on our last Europe trip. I had said to them, “These are our seats.” They got a petulant look and said, “The train is full and other people are in our seats.”

“Okay.” I said. “Go tell them to move.”

In the van in the drive, Yessa said, “Oh, Mom, next time you should say, ‘I can show you how to deal with that. I’ll be you, you be them.'”

That was the first cackler.

Then, as we walked around our new apartment here in Lisbon, Yessa pointed at this wall decoration and said, “Is that sun hat big enough for you, Mom?”

It does get sunny here. 😆
