That Is A Great Question!

I met with our CPA this morning to ask a couple questions to make sure my ducks are in order, and I was reminded why I like him so much.

When I ask a question he generally says, very sincerely, “That is a great question!”

Today he added a new refrain to, “That is a great question!”

He said multiple times, “I don’t know why more people don’t ask that.” And, “I’ve never had anyone ask that.”

Said with enthusiasm and honesty, it makes the questioner feel brilliant and insightful and valued.

And, he had fantastic answers to all my questions.

Win, win, win.

I’m off to write him a thank you card for making me feel brilliant.
