Speed!

We convinced the two youngest to watch the 1994 movie “Speed” with us yesterday. It was great fun to watch together, and also hilarious because of the casual sexism and many sexual undertones/overtones. Times really have changed.

Yessa summed it up when she said it would have been a good movie if it would have ended after they got off the bus. But they didn’t. 😆

Watching media from decades ago with the kids has been such a fantastic conversation starter. Their clear vision and our newer awareness of what used to be okay and is now hilariously awful or just plain ick.

It really is a better world.
