Europe Trip #1 – April 19, 2022 – Taormina W/The Whole Crew

I want to circle way, way back to our fantastic weeks of travel last summer. I need to finish writing about each of the days of our first European trip. My memories are only fed by photos, so these posts will be the photos of each day and the stories will have to generate themselves where my memory leaves blanks.

At lunch time, J&B and crew headed off to the beautiful restaurant where they had made reservations the day before. (Jenny, do you remember the name?)

Buds, Monkey, and Buster headed off to hunt up carnivore lunch while Yessa and I made our way to Rosmarino Ristorante and feasted in high vegan fashion.

Buds and our two eldest ended up at a more touristy restaurant and Buds found himself talked into eating the “house specialty” which seemed to be porcupine fish. He ate it, but felt grumpus about being tagged as a tourist. I thought it was cool they had the experience.

Our tour of the Greek Theatre was of this ancient spot.

It was a full, gorgeous day. That much I do remember.
