Waffles Update

We got the call from Dr. Hauck (Hawk) around 11:40 a.m. Waffles is out of surgery and all is well. They removed the infected tooth and also a tooth from the opposite side of the mouth that was showing tooth disintegration and would have been painful once the nerve was exposed.

They’ll apply a long-acting painkiller to his skin before we pick him up this afternoon. With that and the dissolving stitches that were used inside his mouth, he shouldn’t need to go back to the vet unless something unexpected turns up.
