What Monkey and I Did

You know what the rest of the family got up to on Thanksgiving. What about Monkey and Me?

Our first day just the two of us was spent on Monkey’s research rough draft. She had done much of the pre-work, so I wandered around doing projects, ready to offer her support and time when she needed it. She didn’t need much, but it was great to be together.

The rest of our time was spent watching a favorite Christmas movie, getting carry-out of some of our favorite foods, talking, laughing, and enjoying the quiet house. We also got Monkey’s room organized and her new dresser set up.

All of it, time well spent.

As always, time with the kids individually is time well spent.
