Happy Holidays!
We had a family meeting many years ago and agreed that Holiday music could be played any time after Nov. 1. Those of us who want to start playing the music as early as possible have strictly adhered to this rule and will not agree to revisit it for fear of losing ground.
Hence, Christmas carols are playing loud and proud as Monkey and I work away in the living room/dining room space.
When we visited East Aurora with Babs when she was here, we shopped in a music shop that was having a moving sale and captured some treasures including a Christmas present for Piano Teacher Malinda, piano sheet music, and several records.
Yessa offered to let us have her record player in the public rooms on the first floor and I’m enjoying listening to records.
I had forgotten how rich and full the sound from records can be. And that records have two sides to play!
This is quickly becoming a new favorite tradition.
