Top Tastes of the Trip

We were surprised by two new favorite foods on this trip. In Regensburg, we found these pepper pretzels at the local bakery. These were intensely peppery, salty, savory, crisp and toothsome. The only solution was to get 3-5 a day and munch all morning.

Peppery goodness

The second fun find was Italian. In Bonnasola, we found Coffee Creme. These are simplicity itself. Espresso whipped with sugar and cream, then chilled.

Creamy sweetness

We’re sure this beats Rochester’s “Garbage Plate”, but we haven’t summoned the courage to try one yet. 1999
