Europe Trip #2 - July 11, 2022 - Why, Hilton, Why?!?!

This Hilton hotel at the Munich airport is perfect for location. We hopped off the train, followed the signs, and they were ready for us to check in an hour early. Easy, peasy.

We took the elevator up to our room on the 2nd floor to find we had to cross this gauntlet to get to the hallway for our room.

I have issues with this. It’s like mesh, which I hate walking over, but with this opaque glass I can’t even tell how far down I’d have to fall.

Okay, I make it by tight-roping across on the metal strips between the glass sheets.

After dropping our backpacks in the room, we head out to find some lunch. We think we can circumvent the “glass to elevator” issue by taking the stairs, to discover the last set of stairs is this:

So I’ll be living in the Munich Hilton for the rest of my life since I obviously can’t leave. Let me know if you want to visit.
