Europe Trip #2 – July 2, 2022 – When You Take That Bus, You Get There!

We’re off the train and on the temporary tourist buses they are running because the train can no longer go directly to the airport due to the Morandi Bridge collapse in 2018.

Trenitalia had warned me ahead of time we’d need to make this transfer and the path to find the bus was well marked.

The only flaw in the plan was the mesh bridge they built to go up and over the highway. I’m not a fan of mesh.

Waiting for the bus:

It felt like every band trip I ever went on.

And now we’re waiting at the airport. We’ve had food, found our gate, we’re ready for Germany!
